British R&B sensation Craig David recently shared that he has chosen to abstain from sex for the past two years. The 43-year-old singer revealed that this decision was driven by a desire to address personal issues and take a break from intimacy.
David also mentioned that this period of celibacy has had a positive impact on his creativity, saying, “It’s been two years now for me [without sex]. But funnily, much as I was like, ‘Wow!’ to myself for the moment, [my] creativity has been on a 100, on a max, for those two years,” in a recent interview with TMZ.
David shared that he sees this period of celibacy as a way to prepare himself mentally for his next relationship.
