Ghana Misses Out on BET Awards Nominations, While Nigeria and South Africa Shine

While Ghana didn't receive any nominations for the 2024 BET Awards, several African artists from Nigeria and South Africa secured nods across various categories.

Leading the pack for Nigeria is rising star Ayra Starr with three nominations. Following closely are established names Burna Boy and Tems, who each scored two nominations. Other Nigerians in the running include Asake, Seyi Vibez, Davido, and Lojay.

South Africa's Tyla stands out as the most nominated African artist overall, with a total of four nominations.

Globally, Drake reigns supreme with seven nominations, followed by Nicki Minaj with six.

This rewrite highlights the lack of Ghanaian nominations while still acknowledging the success of other African artists. It also streamlines the information about individual nominations.
