Ghanaian dance duo Afronita and Abigail placed third after a grueling finale of the 2024 Britain’s Got Talent show.
The duo, with their impressive dance moves, have amazed people around the world during the competition, proudly representing Ghana and Africa on a global stage. 

At the finals on Sunday, June 2, they gave an exciting performance in colorful Ghanaian outfits, finishing in the top three out of ten finalists. They came third, which is still a big accomplishment for Africans on such a big stage.

These two young Ghanaians received a lot of support from Ghanaians both at home and abroad. The ten finalists included a choir, a magician, and a Japanese skipping group.

Sydnie Christmas won the top prize, with Jack Rhodes in second place and dancers Abigail and Afronita in third.

The judges, Simon Cowell, Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden, were back for the final time this series, along with hosts Ant and Dec. The winner of the 17th series of BGT gets £250,000 and the chance to perform at the Royal Variety Performance.

People watching at home could vote for their favorite acts during the live show.

Singer Christmas couldn't hold back tears when she was announced as the winner of the 2024 Britain's Got Talent. She said, "I don't know what to say, I can't believe how much love I've felt. I'm overwhelmed with love, and I hope everyone in this room feels the same. Thank you so much."

This series, like always, has been full of amazing talent and incredible acts.
